2 | Booking, Contracts, Usage & Licensing

After we’ve established the project needs, it’s time for the business side.

Booking: Factoring in variables (completion dates, move-in dates, weather considerations, season considerations, submission deadlines), we find a date or multiple dates that are appropriate.

Contract: KRJ Photography has a contract that is set up to avoid confusion when it comes to our responsibilities and those of our clients. We like clarity, and seek to ensure everyone is on the same page. We want to protect our clients interests.

Usage & Licensing: When a final image files is delivered, you are receiving a license to use the image. Your license is not transferrable and does not offer the ability to gift or resell to any other party. Licensing can seem complicated - reach out with any questions you have! 3 | Site Visit

Ideally we have access to the site prior to the shoot day. Exploration of the project in-person allows for us to really explore and plan our the shoot. If you can attend the site visit, it really lets us to collaborate on the key portions of the project and highlight the most important portions.

4 | Shoot Day

Our typical shoot day is dawn to dusk. This does vary depending on site availability, budget and size. We arrive with equipment and start documenting the site. Images discussed during the Discovery and Site Visit are prioritized and we create any additional images we see.

5 | Proof Gallery

In order to control costs, we deliver a proof gallery with brief edits applied. From this gallery, you select the images you feel will best reflect your project. It is this selection that receive final edits—you control the final number of images, and as such, you control the final cost of the shoot.

6 | Final Edits

We create final edits of the selected images, removing imperfections, compositing lighting layers, manipulating the image files to create an accurate representation of what our eyes saw when we entered the space. We deliver v1.0 to you and request feedback. From your feedback we make final tweaks to the images.
